Changes II

Cambios II

When I was just starting the blog almost two years ago I wrote about changes. They are inevitable, and quite frankly, can be super scary.

I have mentioned many times, whether here, on insta or to my Mom pretty much every time we talk on the phone, that being an adult sucks. Bills, money, big decisions and managing your own time is a full time job nobody gets out of.

These days I had to do a major adult decision. I even spent a full hour talking to my therapist about it when it was just a possibility. Big decisions mean big changes, and those are never easy, even when they are for what we think are good opportunities.

I wanted to take a couple of minutes and let you know one thing: Changes are scary, but everything is going to be okay.

Whether you are thinking about making your next big career move, begin or end a relationship, or starting your own personal project or business, just remember to keep an open mind, say yes more often, and be honest with yourself first and then with the others you care about.

Oh, and remember there is only a handful of people that truly care about what you do with your life. The rest of “them” and the internet, don’t give a damn. So you shouldn’t either.

These words might mean nothing to you right now, but they are exactly what I am trying to tell myself, and in the small chance this post can resonate with you, my job here is done.

Smile, everything is going to be okay. Eventually.

Eventualmente.
